 The Glasshouse on the Ganges, like the other Neemrana 'non-hotel'
Hotels, honours both an extraordinary historical site as well as a
magical natural spot. Set in a lychees and mango orchard of The
Maharaja of Tehri Garhwal, with a garden of tropical plants, full
of rare birds and butterflies, it has a sand beach of its own.
This secluded property has six cottages overlooking the Ganges and
the mountains beyond. Its private spring
water matches the qualities of the best mineral waters in the
world, which you can bathe in! The Glasshouse offers leisure,
reading, log fires and even a barbecue near the banks of the
river.

It houses 35 persons in 15 exclusive rooms named after nature and
India's holy rivers. Room tariff is payable in advance (at least 20
days) to confirm bookings, failing which the booking gets
automatically released.
Check-in time is 2 p.m. Check-out time is 12 noon.
One extra bed can be provided per room @ Rs.800/- + tax, if space
permits.

Water Rafting on Ganges is certainly an amazing experience. And if you

rafting trips that are organized on the Ganges. For longer rafting trips
like rapids class 5 require previous experience and rapids like class 6
are made for professionals only.
White Water Rafting Trips
Most easy rafting trip covers about 10-kms of rafting stretch.For
Bramhapuri to Rishikesh light rafting run ( Very good for children) First
drive to Brahmpuri in Rafting Masti vehicle, and then ride on Rafting
Masti raft to ride on the currents of the water of the Ganges. Raft down
through the heart of Laxman Jhula, and Geet Bhawan to Muni-Ki-Reti and
witness the numerous ashrams, yoga and meditation institutes and bathing
Ghats with pilgrims taking a holy dip in the Ganges river water. Rafting
certainly presents a better way to witness Rishikesh - the town of
temples, ashrams and the Ghats.
River Rafting In Shivpuri
Shivpuri is situated near Rishikesh , Shivpuri is 18 kms away from
Rishikesh,Camping facilities are present along the Ganges River,Rafting
Masti Ganga Beach Camp is situated 1 Km from Shivpuri village.
The camps are well equipped with two single beds with mattresses,
complete bedding, towels, etc. From the camp base one can opt for half-day
rafting trip, for which no previous rafting experience is necessary.
Rafting in Rishikesh
Rafting is allowed at Rishikesh from Mid September to End of June,
September-November and March-May are most appropriate. Most of the river
established river camps near the on the Ganges above Rishikesh operate
from the first week of October to mid-June.
Activities at Rishikesh
Tourists who love adventure can even indulge in canoeing at Rishikesh. A
gentle canoe trip in a lightweight alloy-metal craft is popular with the
adventurers. Hiking and nature holidays are also loved by the tourists in
Rishikesh and an ideal base for trekking camps. One can choose from the
Chandrashila, Devi Darshan, Kauri and several other treks from Rishikesh.
